Somalia

All cargo shipped to Somalian ports requires an ECTN (Electronic Cargo Tracking Note), also named cargo waiver. The ECTN must be obtained by the exporters, shippers or freight forwarders at the port/country of origin. The ECTN number must be shown on the Bill of Lading. Shipments arriving without a valid ECTN will result in penalties/fines and seizures.

Bill of Lading
Commercial Invoice in EUR or USD, depending on Incoterm to show fob value
of the goods, ocean freight amount, insurance premium etc. separately
HS Codes(s)

The ECTN must be validated latest 5 days before vessels arrival.
