A “BORDEREAU DE SUIVI DES CARGAISONS (BSC)”, also known as a Cargo Waiver or Cargo Tracking Note, is required for all transports to the Republic of Ivory Coast. The responsibility for this lies with the sender of the goods. The necessary formalities must be arranged in the country of departure. Incoming cargo without BSC will not be processed/delivered and will incur penalties.
Required documents and information:
- Copy of the signed original bill of lading
- Commercial invoice, with separately stated FOB goods value and ocean freight costs (otherwise an additional ocean freight invoice or ocean freight declaration is required)
- Export customs document
- Certificate of Origin
- Local insurance certificate from Ivory Coast (to be provided by the importer)
- FDI document (to be provided by the importer)
