ECTN information note for Republic of Congo
The General Director of the Congolese Shippers' Council hereby informs importers, forwarding agents, consignees and freight forwarders that, in order to ensure the authenticity of information relating to obtaining the ECTN, as from 1 February 2024 applicants to the ECTN are obliged to attach the export declaration for the goods electronically, in the same way as other documents such as:
- the bill of lading;
- the commercial invoice for the goods;
- the freight invoice;
- the vehicle registration document
Any ECTN application that is not accompanied by the above documents will be refused.
This note takes effect from the date of signature.
